With 25 years as a proud resident of Area 5, I currently serve as a Student Success Advisor for an accredited university and am a Certified Safety Professional.
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Stanford University, am a Certified Safety Professional, and have completed the Masters in Governance Program through the California School Boards Association.
I was honored to serve on the Etiwanda School Board for 11 years, including three terms as Board President.
As a long-time advocate for education policy, I represented our district at the state level as an area Delegate for the California School Boards Association and as the Area B Director for the San Bernardino County School Boards Association.
My community involvement extends to 8 years on the Fontana Planning Commission (3 as Chair), as a former Board Member of the West End YMCA, District Representative for Healthy Fontana, PTA President, and member of the American Society of Safety Professionals and the E3 Etiwanda Excellence in Education Foundation.
My commitment is driven by the belief that education transforms lives. Having benefited from public education and my own experience at Stanford, I am passionate about ensuring that every child in our community has access to high-quality education.
During my prior tenure on the Board, our district achieved the highest API in Riverside/San Bernardino Counties and celebrated 10 California Distinguished Schools and multiple Business for Education Excellence Honor Roll Awards, despite state budget cuts.
Married to my husband Todd for 34 years, we have three children, all graduates of the Etiwanda School District, with one now serving as a teacher (outside the District). I’m excited to continue serving our community and providing leadership to uphold our District's mission of...
